Boris Hnajtuk was born in 1972 in Vukovar, where he completed his primary and secondary education. He then moved to Zagreb and graduated from the Academy of Dramatic Art in 2000, majoring in Film and Television Cinematography.

In addition to being an active member of the Zagreb Photo Club, he is also a member of ULUPUH. He holds the AFIAP (FIAP Artist) title, awarded by the International Federation of Photographic Art.

He has participated in numerous group photography exhibitions both locally and abroad, winning many awards and accolades, and has also held several solo exhibitions.

He works as a professional photographer specializing in architectural, portrait, industrial, and advertising photography.
